At various times I will secretly ask a student to observe the class, take notes and to write a report on how the class is working, behaving and to comment on how much learning is occuring. The chosen student will then write a diary entry on this page summarising their major observations. If your name appears, hopefully it will be for something you will be proud to read. I expect all contributors to "tell the truth" but to still remain considerate of others.

Dear Wiki-reader,
Mr Reichelt commenced Session 4 by reminding us about the three class rules. He said he was disappointed with the poor attitudes and lack of work by too many students during Session 3 in E0. He seemed to be a bit angry so everyone was quite. Ms Poulter entered the room to check-out students. A couple did not have books and a couple did not have pens. She spoke about high expectations and asked "student" what he had learnt in the previous session. "Student" had a "brain fade" and couldn't remember anything. Josh indicated that he had learnt the meaning of "grudge". Only Faiza was confident enough to volunteer to tell Ms Poulter what she had learnt and this seemed to impress Ms Poulter. When asked about homework the class did not have homework or couldn't remember what it was......Ms Poulter was somewhat surprised........She explained that she wanted all students to write answers in full sentences so that the question was evident by just reading the answer. We then logged onto the computer. This took too long as they are too slow and most students started the work left for us on the wiki. Some students enjoyed the legal aid web site because it could be converted into different languages. Some of the boys mucked around and switched each others computers off. They did not complete the set tasks and still did not follow the class rules. This session went very quickly.

Dear Wiki Reader,
Mr Reichelt started off session 4 today by writing the goals which one of them was to understand the meaning of scarcity and what it is in a real life situation or even in our own class. We played a gamethe aim of the game was to "collected items for our survival on a deserted island and to find the powerful ruler." Some people did not understand what they were doing but it was rather fun and the whole grade actually enjoyed what was going on in the grade. It seemed near the end of the game that someone had given out more things to people than they should have. Four or five people "did not survive" in the game. In the end Jy was the ruler of the island and people had to bow down to him unless they had "died" in the game but some people refused to bow so they got punished by the island ruler. This session went by really fast but it was fun and nobody mucked around you could see the change in attitude of the class in this session.
Dear Wiki Reader,
Friday the 12th of September our class 9P2 tried to have a little fun in class by doing some experiments. We were trying to a have a clear thinking discussion between the mass and size between rocks in a glass jar, an empty jar and a half filled jar of water. This was all based of the core subject of economics and how we make hundreds of economical decisions each day and we don’t even realise it. Mark had a point of how the empty jar was full of air but Fazia added that the one with rocks are the full one. The conclusion is that the class appreciated the hands on actives for once in a change.
